Nicholas Tubbs in The Adding Machine

Nicholas Tubbs (Acting) will be appearing in the ensemble of the West Coast Premiere of The Adding Machine, a new musical at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles. Chris Reinacher in Peter Pan.

Chris Reinacher (Acting) is the most recent Bruin to join the cast of Three Sixty Entertainment's touring production of Peter Pan. The cast also features Emily Yetter (Acting), Elijah Trichon (Acting), and Joshua Kuehl (Musical Theater). Chris will be joining the company in the Atlanta leg of the tour. This production was cast by professor and casting director Michael Donovan.

Alison Elliot in Blithe Spirit

Jessica Marie Taylor in Holiday Spectacular

Jessica Marie Taylor (Musical Theater) recently finished working on the Cabrillo Music Theater Holiday Spectacular, which featured Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy. Jessica was featured in the ensemble.

Carly Bracco in Loving Repeating

Carly Bracco(Musical Theater) will be in the West Coast Premiere of Loving Repeating, a musical about the life of Gertrude Stein, as Woman 1. Performances run January 18-February 13 at International City Theatre in Long Beach. The production was cast by professor and casting director Michael Donovan. Mikey Hawley in The Blank Theatre's The Cradle Will Rock


Mikey Hawley(Acting) will be in The Blank Theatre Company's production of The Cradle Will Rock. The musical runs February 5-March 20 2011 at The Blank Theatre in Hollywood. To find out more information on the production, visit www.theblank.com.

Bruins in Arizona

The UCLA Theater class of 2010 is starting to move away from Los Angeles and spread throughout various parts of the United States, including Arizona!

Cason Murphy(General Studies) moved to Prescott, Arizona immediately after graduation to assume the title of Technical Director of the Prescott Fine Arts Association. He recently played Freddie in the company's production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cason is also the site coordinator for Americorps.

Angelica Richie(Musical Theater), who moved to New York shortly after graduation, will be in Phoenix until February in the ensemble of Broadway Arizona Theatre's production of My Fair Lady. You can follow Angelica's adventures on her personal blog here.

Cami Gonzales in Frida Libre

Cami Gonzales (Musical Theater) will be touring schools all around San Diego county in Frida Libre, a new children's musical being produced in conjunction with the La Jolla Playhouse. The musical is about the early life of painter Frida Kahlo, who Cami will be originating the role of. The musical will run from February to early April. This production was cast by professor and casting director Michael Donovan.

Cami can also be seen in a commercial for Kashi that is currently on the air.

Holiday Cheer

Celebrate your holiday season by supporting the class of 2010 in all of their holiday performance endeavors!


Madeline Harris(Acting) will be doing double duty as an elf this holiday season, both working at the Grove as one of Santa's Helpers and featured as a hip-hop dancing elf in a holiday Bounty commercial.




Liz Gonzalez(Musical Theater) will be working at Universal Studios Hollywood in her second consecutive show after working with the park over Halloween with their Halloween Horror Nights. Liz is currently featured in Universal's Grinchmas show. Performances are December 11 and 12 and December 18-January 2.




Clay Stefanki (Musical Theater) is currently in Festival of Christmas at Lamb's Player's Theatre in San Diego. You can find out more information about the show here.

The Wait List


The Wait List is an improv, short form, and live performance comedy group that has Anne Lane(Acting) and Chris Reinacher(Acting) among its creators. Their films have been in various festivals and won several awards for acting, writing, and directing, including winning the national grand prize for best picture of Campus Movie Fest. They've had meetings with a few different major television networks (Comedy Central, ABC, and others) about creating and being featured in content, and recently made a series of digital shorts for an MTV showcase of up-and-coming talent. They have regular shows at the Improv Space and other venues.

The Wait List has also featured Julie Alexander(Acting), Mikey Hawley(Acting), Emily Yetter(Acting), Kylie Alesso(Acting), and Lesley Holligsworth(Acting) in their work.

Nicolette Robinson

Nicolette Robinson(Musical Theater) has had a very successful post-graduation life! In addition to being a part of the staged musical workshop Post Office at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, Nicolette just finished filming the first season of Perfect Couples, a new NBC sitcom on which she is a series regular. The show premieres January 20th and airs Thursday nights at 8:30 on NBC. One episode will also feature fellow 2010 graduate Kevin Michael Martin(Acting).

Drew Ruesch

Drew Ruesch(General Studies) is currently working on TLC's Toddlers and Tiaras for Authentic Entertainment, the same company that produces Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis. He is also working in Development for GRB Entertainment, the same production company Irina Khordokovsky(Design) is working for.

Bruins in Singin' in the Rain

Both Jessica Marie Taylor(Musical Theater) and Michelle Akeley(Musical Theater) were in the Norris Theatre's production of Singin' in the Rain this fall. The production also featured 2009 graduate Caitlin Beitel. Michelle also recently completed her training with the Pilates Institue of Southern California and is now a certified pilates instructor.

Katie Boeck in Bullshot Crummond and the Invisible Bride of Death


Aside from performing her own original music in various venues around Los Angeles (including the House of Blues), Katie Boeck(Musical Theater) is currently in the original play Bullshot Crummond and the Invisible Bride of Death at the Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Center in North Hollywood.

Irina Khodorkovsky


Irina Khodorkovsky(Design) is working full time as the executive assistant to the Vice President of development and creative affairs at GRB Entertainment, the two-time Emmy-award winning production company that brings you shows like Intervention and Animal Hoarders. She is also a part-time photo editor for playbill.com.

Equity Membership Candidates

Jack Sale(Musical Theater) and Rachel Lee(Musical Theater) are on their way to getting that little asterisk next to their names in a program! Both of them are now Equity Membership Candidates, meaning they have started to collect points to join Actor's Equity. Jack appeared as a Protean in 42nd Street Moon's production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and is currently a Segway tour guide in Beverly Hills. Rachel was in The Bedroom Window at the Odyssey Theatre (you can hear her on the show's original cast recording) and is currently understudying all female roles in Crimes of the Heart at East West Players.

Rachel and Jack are also the creators of Book It On Broadway.

Lauren Gerenraich


Lauren Gerenraich(Musical Theater) has put her focus behind the table. After working in casting for shows such as Lie to Me, Detroit 187, and the USA pilot Common Law, Lauren is currently the assistant to the head of the youth department at AKA Talent.

Three Sixty Entertainment's PETER PAN

The newest stage adaptation of Peter Pan features three Bruins as replacements for the original London cast. Those actors are Elijah Trichon(Acting) as John, Emily Yetter(Acting) as Tinkerbell, and Johua Kuehl(Musical Theater) as Tootles. The replacement cast for the original London actors was cast by professor and casting director Michael Donovan.

Summer in San Diego

The San Diego Theatre scene was full of Musical Theater students from the class of 2010. Clay Stefanki appeared in Oklahoma! at Moonlight Stage as well as Hello Dolly! at Starlight Theatre in the role of Barnaby. Angelica Richie also worked at Starlight Theatre in their production of The Pajama Game. Moonlight's production of Miss Saigon featured many UCLA students, including Klarissa Mesee, Sam Ayoub, and Drew Ruesch.The production was also stage managed by
Tim Jones(stage management).

Lost Tapes

Thanks to the help of teacher and casting director Michael Donovan, many students from the class of 2010 have been featured on the Animal Plant show Lost Tapes. These actors include Reider Larsen(Acting), Ashley Morey(Acting), Joshua Kuehl(Musical Theater), Klarissa Mesee(Musical Theater), and Elijah Trichon(Acting).

Bruins in New York

Elizabeth Boulger(Stage Management) and Angelica Richie(Musical Theater) headed to the opposite coast after graduation and moved to New York. Elizabeth currently works for Walt Disney Theatrical Productions. Angelica is a freelance writer for ESPN Rise -which is geared towards young female athletes- and was recently featured as a dancer for the XBox Kinect release in Times Square. Congratulations to our Bruins working for and dancing on Broadway!

Higher Education





After graduating from UCLA, Scott Patteson (Acting),Adam Rigg (Design), Whitney Ellis(Playwrighting) and John Berardo(Directing) decided to pursue their education further by attending graduate school. Scott is currently in the acting program at University of California San Diego and Adam is studying design at Yale School of Drama. Whitney and John are both at USC's Film School, with Whitney in the acting program and John in the directing program.
